Samuel's coffin was found by archaeologists in the 90's, and his bones were examined for comparisons with the ailments he described in his letters. Even in the modern age, Samuel had a story to tell!

Ironically, Samuel Richardson, father of the English novel, is among the most underappreciated of all English novelists. Our great loss! God bless you, sir, and may you rest in sweet and eternal peace.
