Agnes Bauer was born in Arkansaw, where she married Raymond Auth May 2, 1933. They farmed in Arkansaw until 1951, when they moved to Plum City. They owned and operated the Plum City Cafe until retiring in 1966.
Survivors include her husband, four daughters, Audrey Murphy, Ellsworth, Wanda Evans, Mondovi, Barbara Honeycutt, Grand Island, Neb., Rebecca Frese, Tomahawk; three sons, Neil, Pepin, Thomas, Little Canada, Minn., Richard, Waukesha; a sister, Mathilda Radle, Arkansaw; six brothers, Paul Bauer, Arkansaw, Raymond Bauer, George Bauer, Edward Bauer, Gilbert Bauer, all of Durand, Leonard Bauer, Nelson; 26 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Tuesday at St. John’s Catholic Church, with burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Arkansaw.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Rhiel Funeral Chapel, Durand, where a prayers service will be at 8 p.m.
