Mrs. Barbara Ellen Biser, wife of Mr. Lawson H. Biser, died at her home in Middletown, about 9 o'clock Tuesday night; after an illness of two weeks, aged 72 years; 10 months and 9 days. She was a daughter of Nelson and Malinda Remsburg, and was born at Highland, Middletown Valley. Twenty years ago she and her husbanf moved from a farm to Middletown and for 18 years, she lived in the home in which she died.
Her husband and five children survive: Emory of Baltimore; Maurice of Frankfort, Ohio; Walter of Tiffin, Ohio; Katie wife of Wm. Hamilton, and Mrs. Carrie Boone, both of Frederick. Two brothers also survive; I.C. Remsburg. of Baltimore, and McCauley Remsburg, of Boonsboro, Washington county. Funeral from the house Thursday afternoon, her pastor Rev. Dr. George A. Snyder, officiating. The pallbearers were Messrs. George L. Doub, Alona Kepler, Lawson Stine and Lewis P. Miller. Interment in the Reformed cemetery, Middletown.
