SOUTHWICK- Calvin J. Arnold Jr., 47, a life long Southwick resident, passed away on Friday May 30, 2008. Calvin was born on December 27, 1960 in Hartford, CT, a son of Calvin J. Arnold Sr. and the late Helen (Jemilo) Arnold. He graduated from Southwick High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from West Virginia Wesleyan. Calvin co-owned and operated C & E Tobacco, Inc. with his wife Elaine (Kazlauskas) Arnold for the past 18 years until her passing on January 14, 2008. He was a member of the Southwick Lions Club, and enjoyed snowmobiling. He was also an avid sports fan. Calvin is survived by his two loving and cherished children, Calvin Arnold III and Rachel Arnold, both of Southwick; his father, Calvin Arnold Sr.; two brothers, Dwight Arnold and Stuart Arnold and his wife Amy, all of Southwick; a sister, Diane King of Somers, CT; a brother-in-law, Edward Kazlauskas of Westfield; sisters-in-law, Annette Kazlauskas of Glendale, AZ and Serena Fuller of Westfield; a niece, Heather Arnold; two nephews, Seth Arnold and Dwight King; and many close friends. A funeral home service will be held on Wednesday June 4th at 10 a.m. at the Southwick-Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, with Rites of Committal and burial to follow in New Cemetery, College Highway, both in Southwick. Calvin's family will receive relatives and friends at the visiting hours on Tuesday June 3rd from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Calvin's family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Southwick Lions Club, P.O. Box 352, Southwick, MA 01077.
