Mrs. Edna Viola Overton Brown, age 93, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at her home in the Wellwood Community, Bells, TN.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, Robert "Bob" Overton and Edna Wagster Overton; her husband, George Brown; three brothers, Robert Overton, Billie Overton, and Garland Overton; four sisters, Lillie Brown, Lottie Crutchfield, Martha Sue Crutchfield, and Una Waddell.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 22, 2013, at Holly Grove Baptist Church, Bells, TN, under the direction of the Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes, with Bro. David Peace officiating. Visitation will be held at the Holly Grove Baptist Church, Friday 22, 2013, from 12:00 until service time at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Holly Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown is survived by two sons, Tommy Brown (Pat), Columbus, MS, and Terry Brown, Bells, TN; two daughters, Betty G. Doyle, Bells, TN, and Dale Sinclair (Robert), Carthage, TN; two foster sons, Charles "Chuck" Brown (Cathy), and Bryant "Butch" Brown; eight grandchildren, Kevin Brown (Alyssa), Angie Brown Harper (Charlie), Kris Doyle (Kiley), Dianne Brown Warren (Keith), Steve Brown (Cristy), Tammy Sinclair Givens (Terry), Michael Sinclair (Misty), and Mark Sinclair (Candice); and fifteen great-grandchildren.
