Everal was a retired logger and the second white child born in Aberdeen. He operated the Stout Logging Co in the Newskah Valley, where he made his home, and in the Indian and Chenois Creek areas. Before retiring in 1948 he was employed by the E.C. Miller Cedar Lumber Co.
Everal E Stout was listed as the husband of Ada Ellen (Cooper) Stout in the 1920, 1930, and 1940
censuses. He is buried with Ada and her son by her previous marriage, Everett R Baxter.
