#1 Karen Rose Christensen, born April 16, 1941, baptism on April 18, 1941 at the Blair Hospital by P.C. Jensen, Pastor of the Lutheran Church. Died: 1942, buried November 1942, Blair Cemetery.

Parents: Charles Axel Christensen and Inez Evelyn (Christiansen) Christensen.

Grandparents: Nels Peter Christensen, Della Lavina (Lake) Christensen, Jorgen T. Christiansen & Anna K. (Johnsen) Christiansen. Siblings: Charles Duane Christensen and Ronald Wayne Christensen.

Karen Rose Christensen, 18-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Christensen of south of Kennard, died last Thursday after an illness.

Funeral services were conducted at the Bendorf Funeral Home here by the Rev. H. C. Jorgensen, pastor of First Lutheran Church and burial followed in Blair Cemetery.

Biographical Information:

Karen Rose was the daughter, and the first of the three children of Charles Axel Christensen and his first wife, Inez Evelyn Christiansen.

Her parental grandparents were Nels P. and Della Lake Christensen.

After her mother's death, Karen's father remarried to Mary Ann Hager. Six children were blessed to this marriage.

Note: Karen is buried in the same block and lot as Alfred (b. 1918). Nels P. and Della (graves 11 and 12).
