Happy Birthday Dad, I love you with all my heart and miss you so. I long for the day that we can talk, laugh, and hug each other again. Thank you my dearest dad for making me into the man I am today. For making me strong, yet compassionate; firm, yet loving; and happy go lucky, yet reverant. May our loving heavenly father wrap his loving arms around you each time your family thinks of, and misses you which is each and every minute of every day.

I miss my Dad. I miss our talks, our handshakes, our friendship. I miss our fishing trips, and I miss the learning of valuable lessons he taught. I miss the tools, and the labor of his brow, and the smell of grease when he came home from work. I miss the westerns and war movies we watched. I miss our meals and the beer we shared. I miss his laughter and even his anger. I miss his wisdom through all that came at him. I miss our visits to church, and to the hardware store. I miss our hobbies together. But most of all... I miss seeing my Dad. Forever your son,

Hi Grandpa!I just wanted to tell eveyone how special you were and still are to me! You were the one and only grandpa I ever knew growing up; Thank you for all the weekends you gave up for our over-nighters, and for all the war and history specials you didn't get to watch because we wanted cartoons instead! I'll always remember the drawings you did for the girls and I, no matter what we requested, a monkey or a dog,you always tryed your best... to this day that still brings a big smile to my face! You were an amazing person, I learned so much from you! All the memories I have from the bingo days to the Christmas mornings to the outings just for dounuts; these are all very dear to my heart! I miss you more every day! ~I love you Grandpa and will never forget you~

TO MY SWEET BROTHER DEAN:

GOD SAW YOU WERE GETTING TIRED,AND A CURE WAS NOT TO BE SO HE PUT HIS ARMS AROUND YOU, AND WHISPERED "COME WITH ME." WITH TEARFUL EYES WE WATCHED YOU SUFFER AND SAW YOU FADE AWAY. ALTHOUGH WE LOVED YOU DEARLY,WE COULD NOT MAKE YOU STAY. A GOLDEN HEART STOPPED BEATING,YOU ARE NOW AT PEACEFUL REST. GOD BROKE OUR HEARTS TO PROVE TO US,HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST.
I LOVE AND MISS YOU SO MUCH, BUT WE WILL BE TOGETHER AGAIN ONE DAY.
YOUR LOVING SISTER,DIANE

To my Dad on this Holiday Weekend.

I Am the Flag of the Of America
I am the flag of the United States of America. My name is Old Glory.
I fly atop the world's tallest buildings. I stand watch in America's halls of justice. I fly majestically over institutions of learning. I stand guard with power in the world. Look up and see me. I stand for peace, honor, truth and justice. I stand for freedom.
I am confident. I am arrogant. I am proud. When I am flown with my fellow banners, My head is a little higher,
My colors a little truer. I bow to no one! I am recognized all over the world. I am worshipped - I am saluted.
I am loved - I am revered. I am respected - and I am feared. I have fought in every battle of every war for more then 200 years. I was flown at Valley Forge, Gettysburg, Shiloh and Appomattox. I was there at San Juan Hill, the trenches of France, in the Argonne Forest, Anzio, Rome and the beaches of Normandy. Guam, Okinawa, Korea and KheSan, Saigon, Vietnam know me. I'm presently in the mountains of Afganistan and the hot and dusty deserts of Iraq and wherever freedom is needed. I led my troops, I was dirty, battleworn and tired, But my soldiers cheered me and I was proud. I have been burned, torn and trampled on the streets of countries I have helped set free. It does not hurt for I am invincible. I have been soiled upon, burned, torn and trampled in the streets of my country. And when it's done by those Whom I've served in battle - it hurts. But I shall overcome - for I am strong.
I have slipped the bonds of Earth and stood watch over the uncharted frontiers of space from my vantage point on the moon. I have borne silent witness to all of America's finest hours. But my finest hours are yet to come. When I am torn into strips and used as bandages for my wounded comrades on the battlefield,
When I am flown at half-mast to honor my soldier, Or when I lie in the trembling arms of a grieving parent
at the grave of their fallen son or daughter, I am proud.

For those who still love and respect me Pray to God that I may fly proudly for another two hundred years.
