Irene Cain, 89, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed into eternal life Jan. 26, 2013, at Ohio Valley Health Care. (John 14: 1-4)
She was born Sept. 24, 1923, in Parkersburg, W.Va., to the late William Clyde Grimm and Lora Tucker Grimm McGinnis.
Irene is survived by her daughters, Joan Nowery and Margie (Charlie) Dye; sister, Jerri Cain; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Cecil L. Cain; one son, Cecil L. Cain Jr. in 2011; one grandson; one brother, Ernest Grimm; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
At her request, there will be no service or visitation. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at the convenience of the family.
In her memory, do a random act of kindness and keep passing it on.
