Services for Mrs. Mae Maher, 52, of 502 Terrell ave., were held at 3 p. m. Saturday[, Apr. 9, 1949,] at Zizik-Kearns funeral home. Eastern Star service followed at the grave in Roselawn Memorial Park.
A native of Sanderson, Mrs. Maher had resided in San Antonio 45 years. She was past Worthy Matron of Harlandale chapter 750 Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors are two sons, Maj. William Maher, Kessler field, Miss., and Norvel J. Maher, San Antonio; her mother, Mrs. A. E. Trenton; her sister, Mrs. Ruth Scott, both of San Antonio, and three grandsons, William Lester, Robert and Norvel J. Maher jr.—The San Antonio Light, Apr. 10, 1949, p. 24
