Sylvia C. Allen, 95, of McDonough, Georgia, died Monday, January 14, 2013. She was born in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania to the late Nick and Ana Calugar. Sylvia was a member of Salem Baptist Church in McDonough.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Bradley Allen, son, Peter Allen, and daughter, Susan Allen. Mrs. Allen is survived by her son, John Allen of McDonough; brothers, George Calugar of Niles, Ohio, and Chuck Calugar, Newbury, Oregon; grandchildren, Ryan Blakney and Amanda Allen; great-grandchildren, Susie, Paisley and Rosalie.
Funeral services held on Friday, January 18 in the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Rev. Rick Statham and Rev. Gary Jarnigin officiating. Interment at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
