Carlos Edwin Wright, 84, of New Port Richey, Florida, died Thursday, March 3, 2011. Burial took place in the Trinity Memorial Gardens, Trinity, Florida. Born in Middlebrook, AR, he moved to Florida in 1994 from Festus, MO.

He retired from U.S. Steel with 40 years of service and had also owned several businesses as well. He was a member of the Church of Christ of New Port Richey and was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War.

Survivors include sons, Bob Wright of Hudson, Bill Wright of New Port Richey and Carlos Wright, Jr. of Wellington, CO; sister, Ernestine Creasman of Cape Canaveral, FL; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Madeline Prevett Wright, and his daughter Edwina Jean Wright Secrease.
