J.T. "Oodie" Thomas was born November 23, 1976 in Idabel, OK to Annie Bell Thomas and John Cook, JR. He departed this life in a car accident along with his nephew Jamie Richards February 10, 1995 in Clarksville, Tx. He united with Plainview Baptist Church at an early age. He attended Idabel High School where he was a member of the Idabel Warriors Football Team. His number was "24". He was well known and well liked in his community.
He leaves to cherish his memory and mourn his homegoing: his mother, Annie Bell Thomas, father; John Cook Jr, 5 Sisters; Elizabeth, Belinda, and Tracy Thomas; Alma Faye Townsend and Barbara Johnson; nine brothers, his twin, J.C., Gary, Eric, Wendell, Henry, and Artis Thomas; K.T. and Larry Townsend; and his Grandmother, Mrs Nellie Young, and a host of other relatives and friends..
Services were held February 15, 1995 at Plainview BAptish Church in Idabel, OK.
