Greensboro-Addie Marcelle Holland Wyrick, 83, of Greensboro went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Lake Brandt Baptist Church, where she was a member. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Addie was born on April 7, 1929 to the late George and Minnie Elder Holland. She was a faithful member of her church where she served in the choir, was a part of the Ladies' Fellowship and where she enjoyed the senior citizen trips. She was known as someone who took great pride in taking care of her family and her clean home where it is said, "one could eat off the floor".
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernest Wyrick; brothers, Robert, Samuel and William; and sister, Marie.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
