Wilma J. Ragsdale, 99, of Hillsboro died at 11:58 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at Montgomery Nursing and Rehab Center in Taylor Springs.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at the church with the Rev. Jeff Hemken, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro, officiating.

Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery in Stonington. Bass, Patton, Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ragsdale was born in Atwater on Jan. 23, 1913, the daughter of the late Henry Maxwell and Cora Mae (Evans) Davidson. She married Carl H. Ragsdale at Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro on June 23, 1979, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 1999.
A homemaker, she had lived in Hillsboro since 1967 and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro.
Mrs. Ragsdale is survived by two children, Joseph Light of Hillsboro and Nancy (husband Larry) Dooley of Stonington; 12 grandchildren, Bill Light of Pana, Tom (wife Julie) Light of Hillsboro, Debra (husband Mark) Williams and Ava (husband Dave) Laurent, both of Irving, Sara Jo Light and Tara Light-Scanlan, both of Centralia, Marla Mink-Johnson of Mt. Zion, Tim (wife Suzanne) Mink of Decatur, Rodney (wife Trish) Dooley of Atoka, TN, Monica (husband John) Wamsley of Taylorville, Jason (wife Rhea) Dooley of Stonington, and Jeremy (wife Amber) Dooley of Mt. Auburn; 32 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Walter Davidson of Hillsboro; and sister, Velma Roper of Coffeen.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three children, Donald in infancy, William Light, and Barbara Mink; a grandchild, Deanna Jo Dooley; two brothers, Merril Davidson and Ralph Davidson; and a sister, Annyce McCuen.
