Television Game Show Producer, Host. He was the game show host of various TV game shows during the 1950s produced by his company, Barry & Enright Productions with fellow producer Dan Enright. He was involved in the quiz show scandals of the late 1950s while hosting "Twenty-One," which formed the basis of the movie "Quiz Show" (1994). Barry made a comeback in the aftermath of scandals by hosting the game show "The Joker's Wild" from 1972 until he died in 1984 from a heart attack while jogging in New York's Central Park.
