Wash T. Harmon, 92, of 3317 Whitten Road, a retired licensed practical nurse, died of heart failure Wednesday at the Jackson Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Services are 9:30 a.m. Friday at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home with burial in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today.
Mr. Harmon, a native of Butler, Ala., was a member of the Forest Hill Baptist Church. He had lived in Jackson for more than 50 years. He retired from the Veterans Administration Medical Center as a licensed practical nurse with 20 years of service.
He was a member of the Pearl Masonic Lodge and Wahabi Shine Temple. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include: wife, Myrtis; stepdaughter, Betty Ferguson of Ethel; and stepson, James C. Edwards of Ethel.
