Just found in an old journal, dated Sept. 2, 1981: "When there is a hesitation between the moment of lifting the receiver to the "hello?" on the other end, I know it's Noah. He sings his hello, with an upward emphasis on the first syllable. It is the most delightful hello I know. 'Constance who?' he asks, adding,'you know, I'm ninety three now.I feel wonderful. There was this program on tv last night - there are 11,000 living American who have reached their hundredth year. I aim to be one of them! I'll tell Mary you called.'"You made me smile in hard times, Noah. I love you, rest in peace.

Howard Hughes had visions of genius. Noah Dietrich had the brains that could make them happen. God Bless

What an incredible man, going above and beyond the call of duty to a man who became a friend.

A excellent lawyer. A great man. That forgot who made who. And some confused people wonder why Mr. Hughes never trusted anyone.

mr. dietrich,
my grandfather worked for you, and you signed a copy of your book for him... which i just read. judging by your account, "the aviator" was much more flattering than hughes deserved. i'm glad you were able to exist beyind his shadow.

RIP to the man who helped Hughes through many things. If only there was a cure for Obssesive-compulsive disorder, you could have helped the man with many more great things. A great great man, be blessed up above!
