Tatzumbie is my great grandmother-Her death cert. reads DOB: July 26th 1849, DOD: Feb 26, 1970 is has an offical stamp date Mar. 3 1970. Her date of birth was offically recognized by City of LA-I have these documents. She told me her tribe was from Lone Pine and was pauite. She had three children (that I know of) Edwin, Christy, and Florence. Edwin was born about 1907 (he was my grand father). Please correct the idea she was in grade school in the early 1900's. I knew her, often stayed with her when I went to vist my great Aunt Florance. She lived on W. 12th St in L.A. I greatly loved her. She would say two prayers in Even & morning-one to God and one to the Great Spirit. She was in movies (many) one was "Across the Wide Missouri" with Clark Gable, she did beautiful bead work. If she was in grade school in the early 1900's I would like to see offical records. Tatsumbie, she also was called "Annie".
