Geraldine Musgrove Fletcher, 84, of Paris, passed away Sunday, January 06, 2013, at Legend Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fletcher, the daughter of Belton & Doyles Frederick Musgrove, was born October 11, 1928, in Arkansas. She was a homemaker, attended beauty school, and became a cosmetologist. Geraldine owned & operated several beauty salons in Dallas. She was a member of the Alders Gate Methodist Church in Dallas where she taught Sunday school a number of years. She was a member of the Llewellyn Uplift Club in Dallas and enjoyed bowling and she & her husband, George, were on bowling leagues.
Eleven years ago she and her husband moved to Paris from Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Thomas Fletcher, whom she married on Sept. 6, 1947, building 63 years of family and memories before his death on May 7, 2011.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Mansfield & husband Sam of Richardson and Susan Nash of Paris, grandchildren, Holli Mullinix of Frisco, Carri Newnham & husband Matt of Richardson and Christopher Nash of Paris, great grandson, Ethan Mullinix of Frisco, two sisters, Ruth Fisher & husband L. S. of Granbury and Saundra Marquis of Belton along with several nieces, nephews & a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be: Matt Kirby, Josh Kirby, Mike Taylor, Trey Peeples, Allen Kirby and Christopher Nash.
