Photographed every marker in this Cemetery no Samuel Wise. Checked the Knox County Cemetery listing for this Cemetery and Samuel Wise not listed. This will remain until grave is found elsewhere. re: neptune-kim
Samuel moved to Allen County, Ohio in 1850 and died there in May 1851. He could be buried in Allen County, Ohio as several relatives lived there. However no grave has been found there either. His wife , Elizabeth died in 1849 and is buried in Morris Chapel cemetery. It is a very well kept old cemetery. However by 1850, Samuel moved to Allen county, Ohio with several relatives. Research has not provided any proof of burial, but most likely he was buried in Ohio as he died one year after his move. re: val ( he is my direct ancestor). Research continues, have not found proof in Allen County, Ohio either.
