Windola Ann Sloas Lewis, age 58, of Sandy Hook, Ky., passed away Monday morning, December 24, 2012, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Ashland, Kentucky.

Windola was born November 29, 1954, a daughter of Merlin Sloas and the late Martha Stephens Sloas.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by three grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of forty-one years, Roger Lewis, three sons and daughter-in-laws, Johnnie and Sheena Lewis of Sandy Hook, Ky., Samuel and Shawna Lewis of Sparta, Ky., Josh and Kandace Lewis of Means, Ky., three daughters and son-in-law, Karen and William Blankenship, Cindy Tharp, Destiny Lewis all of Sandy Hook, Ky., four sisters, Wilma Smith of Ashland, Ky., Nettie Lewis of Blaine, Ky., Susie Smith and Ellia Kegley both of Sandy Hook, Ky., and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2012, in the Chapel of Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home, with Brother Tim Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Sloas Family Cemetery on Route 7 in Sandy Hook, Kentucky.
