David William Anderson, "Crackdaddy", age 65, passed away on Dec. 12, 2012 surrounded by family and friends following a valiant battle with cancer.

He fought beyond everyone's expectations.

David was born March 27, 1947 in Oakland, Calif. to Alvin Andrew and Betty Zweifel Anderson and had lived in Fallon since 1987.

He was retired from the U.S. Navy as a GSE Mechanic. He served during Vietnam and the Gulf War.

He is survived by his wife, Jovita "Beth" and son, Alvin both; brother, Bryan Anderson and sister in law, Rose Anderson; his Aunty Shawn Anderson; nieces and nephews, Aaron Benham Sara Anderson, Lauren Anderson, Jordan Benham, Stephanie Benham, Billy Boy, Marvin and Josie Maoile, Marvin Madangan, Amber Vannatta, Lida Bugor, Shawn Anderson, Christopher Anderson, and Jefferson Madangan; and by his best friends, Blain and Donna Buer and Jeff and Debbie Braccini.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Dec. 17 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fallon. Interment with military honors will be at the Northern Nevada Veterans Cemetery in Fernley.
