Mrs. Sarah Chambers, widow of the late James C. Chambers, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.H. Tavernor, at Embree Crescent, on Wednesday night, after an illness of two years duration. Mrs. Chambers was 82 years old. She was a native of Nova Scotia, where she lived previous to her coming here, about five years ago.

She is survived by four children, Mrs. Taverner, of this place; Mrs. Hicks, of Brooklyn; Mrs. Vincent, of New Brunswick, and William Chambers, of Jersey City. The funeral services were held from the Taverner home on Friday evening last and were conducted by Rev. Dr. Greenwood, of the First Baptist church. Interment was made in Fairview on Saturday morning.
