Kaylene Ann Bacon, 57; cherished wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend and Nana went to be with Jesus on December 9, 2012. Kaylene was born on August 29th, 1955 to Adolph and Helen Soukup in Wilson, Kansas. She was the youngest of four children. She met Stephen Bacon in McPherson, Kansas and married him on August 3rd, 1973. Together they raised six children just outside of Oklahoma City. Kaylene devoted her life to her family and was a stay-at-home mother and teacher. She home-schooled most of her children K-12th grades. She was a loving, proud Nana to seven beautiful grandchildren: Nathanael Shane, Jena Renae, Coleton Lee, Arianna Grace, Marshal Lee, McKenna Kaye, and Westin Chase; and two step-grandchildren: Tanner Lee and Landon Tyler Redman. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, reading, baking birthday cakes for her children and grandchildren, and spending time with Jesus and her family. Kaylene resided at the home she built with her husband in McLoud, Oklahoma. She was survived by her husband Stephen of 39 years, her six children and their spouses: Dustin Shane and Regina Bacon of McLoud, Oklahoma, Miranda Marie and Steven Calderon of Yukon, Oklahoma, Mark Albert and Laura Bacon of Yukon, Stephanie Ann and Lee Redman of Harrah, Oklahoma, Joshua Wilbur Bacon of McLoud, James William Bacon of McLoud; her seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two brothers, Kenneth Soukup of Wilson, Kansas and Matthew Soukup of Salina, Kansas. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all her family and friends. Her love for God and her family, her incredible strength, and her sweet, gentle spirit will forever be a legacy to those who knew and loved her. Her funeral service was held at the Trinity Nazarene Church at 7301 S. Walker Ave., Oklahoma City on Friday, 14 December 2012, followed by interment in the Jamison Cemetery.
