Charles Edward Griffith, 73, of Hokes Bluff, died Tuesday. Dec. 4, 2012. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a dentist from 1966-68. He returned to Gadsden to practice dentistry until the early '80s, when he moved to Georgia and eventually retired from United and American General Insurance. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doster and Emma Ree Griffith. He is survived by his wife, Linda; three daughters, Cindy, Annette and Beth; two stepdaughters, Tammy and Pam; grandchildren; two siblings, Doc (Bobbie) Griffith and Brenda Boozer. Services held at Macon Memorial in Macon, Georgia.
