Michael W. Amdor, 68, of Urbana died at 12:34 p.m. Monday (Dec. 3, 2012) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

He was born Aug. 28, 1944 in Bloomington, the son of Laurel and Vera Rainey Amdor. He was preceded in death by his parents. He married Marilyn Shumate on May 30, 1980 in Urbana. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Jennifer Amdor; two brothers, Lowell Amdor and Leslie Amdor and one sister, Bonnie Antal of Washington.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
