(LaFayette) Harvey Lee Clark, 85, of LaFayette died Monday, May 20, 2013, at East Alabama Medical Center, Opelika.
The funeral will be Wednesday, May 22, at 1 p.m. at Rock Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. James Caulfield officiating and burial in the church cemetery.
Mr. Clark was born Oct. 27, 1927, near Milltown (at Tatum's X-Roads) to Quintus Park and Lala Pitts Clark. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member and deacon of Rock Springs Baptist Church near LaFayette for 59 years. Mr. Clark was retired from International Playtex and Russell Corporation and was a timber, cattle and catfish farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Alma Harmon Clark of LaFayette; a son and daughter-in-law, Don and Karen Clark of LaFayette; three sisters, LaVerne McNair of Valley, Doris Berry of LaFayette and Gladys Bonner of Donalsonville, Ga.
Pallbearers are: Kyle Jackson, Sidney Walters, Larry Richardson, Bradley Harmon, Richard Sheppard and Bobby Kendrick.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 21, from 6-8 p.m.
