Was the son of Samuel McJunkin Sr. and Mary Ann Bogan McJunkin. He and his wife Jane Chesney, born 9-15-1763, died 1841, moved to Greenville County S.C. and the location of their graves are unknown. Jane Chesney was the daughter of Robert Chesney and Elizabeth Prudy Chesney a Tory family. Tyrone). He is believed to have been Born Ca. 1680-85 in what is now Port Williams Scotland. His wife is reg(.? ) Margaret Caldwell, (daug of Joseph and Jane (McGee) Caldwell. born ca. 1686 on coTyrone Stewartstown(?) Ireland . Her death Ca 1740 in same location. as birth. Robert J Died ca 1747-50 in cumberland county Penn. Only children reg. are two sons William and Samuel. William is believed to have been born ca 1720 and Samuel is shown as being birthed in Co. Tyrone Stewardstown Ireland on 5 Sept 1725 He married 9 SAept 1754 in Delaware to one Mary Ann Bogan He died 25 Aproil 1808 in Christian Co Kentucky and was buried roadside grave with no marker No furthur records are available on William or the possibility of other Children. Mary Ann Bogan was born in Penn Cumberland County and died 17 april 1781 York? Whitmire south carolina Her Father is shown to be William Bogan husband of Elenor. William is son of Jonah and one Gwenevier Madison. Gwenevier was direct ancestor of Dolly Payne Todd maker of first american flag and James Madison 4th president of the United States. Elenor Bogan is believed to be niece of Benjamin Ashmoore. Benjamin had a sister who became widowed before birth of first baby. She died during birth of her baby girl, reg. as Elenora. The child was taken in by benjamin and his wife Anna Belle Graham and from all indications was raised by same. The Graham name is to be famos in North Carolina.
