Wilbur was born to Thomas Alonzo Rogers Halstead (father changed his last name to Rogers which was his fathers mothers maiden name) and Mary Eveline Shippee. Wilbur married twice, 1st to Marie Gotzenberger and next to Mary Ellen Parkhurst. At this writing its not known if he had children with either spouse.
A Volunteer recently visited this cemetery and stated there is no marker for grave but did give me an actual location, see plot information for location.
Cemetery Haunter (#46558417) wrote "I found his m. record to Marie. His middle name is listed as Allen and her maiden name is listed as "Gotsenberg". He was aged 22, native of CA, she was 19, native of Holland. Witnesses were Mr. & Mrs. Wm Eplett, residing at 903 1/2 E 80th St. Married by a Lutheran ordained minister.". The 1920/1930/1940 census records spell last name as Gotzenberger. Thanks for the suggestion of spelling for spouse Marie (Mary), I will edit it to what Marriage license states, see below.
