Vivial Pauline Cain Boyd, 83, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday, (Nov. 15, 2012) at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Highway 277 South. Service 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery.

OBITUARY

VIVIAN PAULINE CAIN BOYD

ABILENE-Vivian Pauline Cain Boyd, 83, of Abilene, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, November 11, 2012, to celebrate eternity and to be reunited with her family.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2012, at Elliott Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 Highway 277 South, Abilene. Burial will follow in Elliott-Hamil Garden of memories cemetery, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Vivian was born October 1, 1929 to Andrew Miller Cain and Jesse Sarah Rickwood Cain in Akron, Ohio. She attended Kenmore High School Vivian married Francis E. Boyd. She was a homemaker. Her greatest accomplishments were her children, grandchildren and all of her pets. Vivian was very talented artistically and loved drawing. She was non-denominational in her belief.

Vivan was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis E. Boyd; three infant children; and two infant brothers.

Survivors include four sons, Paul Boyd, Louis Boyd, Adam Boyd and Shane Boyd all of Abilene; eight daughters, Lois Kuykendall of Cullman, Alabama, Charlotte Murdock of Lexington, Alabama, Dorene Glaze of Abilene, Linda Venzor of Stamford, Rita Boyd of Springfield, Ohio, Donalee Mayhue of Stamford, Buffi Hutson of Abilene and Tracy Melchor of Abilene; four brothers, Carl Cain of California, Walter Cain of Akron, Ohio, Kenneth Cain of Waldorf, Maryland, and Donald Cain of Copley, Ohio; four sisters, Kathleen Kolek of Navarre, Ohio, Audrey Hachner of Akron, Ohio, Patricia Yaros of Doylestown, Ohio and Shirley Weese of Wadsworth, Ohio; forty grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
