Elaine was a wonderful sister, wife, mother and grandmother who enriched the life of her family and all those who knew her. She had many interest and talents. She was an excellent cook and seamstress and enjoyed crocheting, quilting, reading, writing poetry and always had a song in her heart. She enjoyed camping and loved to travel with her husband and family. Many new friends were made in their later years, as she and Bill spent time snow birding in Arizona. She was an active member of the LDS church and served in many capacities. She especially enjoyed being know as "nursery grandma". One of her greatest loves was genealogy work and family history.

Devey, and children, Duane (Julia) Riverton, Daryl (Carren), Ron (Penney), Shirlene (Denzil) Jenks, Jalane (Paul) Ludlow, Blair (Nina) of Alpine, and brother Glenn (JaNeal) Hancock.
