Resident of San Jose, Anna Sheveland Wiesehahn passed away peacefully at home at age 88. She was born and raised on a farm in rural Minnesota, near the town of Fertile.

Shortly after high school, Anna moved to Seattle where she was employed by Nabisco, and later by Bon Marche Department Store.

In 1944, she married C.B. "Shev" Sheveland, who was in the U.S. Army. Following the end of World War II, they moved to Modesto and Shev returned to his position at the Modesto Bee. Anna worked as a secretary at Alwalt Manufacturing Co. and later at the E.& J. Gallo Co.

The family was active at Grace Lutheran Church in Modesto for many years. Anna was widowed in 1975. In 1979, Anna resigned from Gallo, moved to San Jose, and married Paul Wiesehahn. This second marriage for both Paul and Anna spanned more than 33 happy years of retirement in their Willow Glen residence.
