Martha Kenan
Burgoon--- Martha M. Kenan, 56, 2225 County Road 23, a lab technician for Great Western Sugar Co., died at 3:44 p.m. Tuesday in the Emergency Room of Fremont Memorial Hospital. She had been brought from her home by the Seneca County EMS. Arriving at the hospital at 2 p.m. The Sandusky County coroner is investigating the cause of death.
Mrs. Kenan was born in Seneca County Dec 29, 1925, to Shirley and Helena (Depinet) Henderson.
Surviving Mrs. Kenan are her husband, John Paul; and son John Paul of Burgoon, a daughter, Mrs. Ricky (Rebecca) Bloom, Burgoon; a sister Mrs. Eugene (Madonna) Bramel, Upper Sandusky; and six grandchildren.
She was a member of the Burgoon United Methodist Church and Fremont Order of Eastern Star and was a 1943 graduate of Bettsville High School.
A private family service will be held Thursday at Smith Cemetery near Burgoon with Rev. Robert Hudgins officiating.
There will be no visitation at the Keller and Son Funeral Home where arrangements were made.
It was suggested that any memorial tributes be to the Burgoon United Methodist Church.
