Mom was born July 7, 1940 to Conley and Lorna Barfuss Christensen. She was born and raised in Tremonton, UT. She was a proud graduate of Bear River High School and was also a licensed beautician.
While attending high school she met the man of her dreams, W. Clark Butler. On July 20, 1962 they were married and sealed together as an eternal family in the Logan LDS Temple. Together they had seven children. Recently they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
They made their home in Deweyville, UT. Not only did mom raise her seven children but one grandchild and half the kids in Deweyville.
She held many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Most of those callings were among the youth of the church. Whatever her calling was she put her heart and soul into it.
Mom was loved by all that knew her, and will be truly missed especially by her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Clark, her children Brian (Dana), Thain, Malinda, Greg (Heather), Brice (LaDonna), Aseneth (Bruce) Snook and Conley Greg Butler. She is also survived by three brothers, three sisters and 11 grandchildren.
