KERRIGAN, Sophie Marie Sophie was born February 1, 1995 in Dayton to Janet Marie (Rice) and Steve Gerard Kerrigan. She passed away Sunday November 4, 2012. She was 17.
Sophie was a Bellbrook High School Senior and worked at Skyline Chili, Bellbrook. Sophie was very creative and enjoyed sketching. She loved water sports including wave running, tubing, snorkeling and going on cruises. She was passionate about her style and love for animals, especially her dog "Puffy" and cats "Minnie" and "Cooper" that she rescued.
She was preceded in death by her dad Steve Kerrigan. Sophie is survived by her mom Janet Carpenter (Bob), brother Aaron and sister Lucy Kerrigan, all of Bellbrook, maternal grandmother Margaret Rice (Malcolm Capperetti) of Piqua, uncle Jim and aunt Brenda Rice of Troy and their 3 daughters.
The family will receive friends Friday November 9th from 3-8 pm at Fairhaven Church, 637 E. Whipp Rd., Centerville. Committal service Saturday 12:00 noon at Bellbrook Cemetery.
A combined celebration of the lives of Sophie, Skylar and Julianna will be held Saturday 2:00 pm at Bellbrook High School.
