Cemetery notes and/or description:
Lenoir City Cemetery is made up of two sections. Section 1 is also known as Old Cemetery and as City Cemetery.
Section 1 is located between US Rt. 11 and Martel Road, east of Hwy. 321. More specifically, Section 1 runs to the east of the old IGA Grocery Store, in separate sections leading down to the Town Creek, known as the Old Foute Town Section. The Old Foute Town section is the oldest part of the cemetery and there are many unmarked graves of early settlers of Lenoir City located here.
Section 2 is located to the south of Martel Road, east of Hwy. 321. More specifically, Section 2 is across Martel Road from Section 1.
