|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
From the intersection of Albert Gallatin Ave. and Dobbins Pike (Hwy #174) in Gallatin:
Travel approximately 5 & 4/10ths miles north on Dobbins Pike (Hwy #174); turn right on Old Dobbins Pike #2; go 1/10th of a mile down the hill and bear hard right onto Bush's Lane. Go 6/10s of a mile on Bush's Lane (which goes southeast, then turns sharply north, then curves east again). Cemetery is on the left (north) side of the road, easily visible and accessible. There are about 95 gravestones and several field stones. Part or all of the inscriptions on several stones have deteriorated beyond legibility. Rows are laid out from south to north, with inscriptions on the east face, making morning the best time for photographs. This cemetery was surveyed and listed as "Drane Cemetery 10-1" in the book, ""Sumner County, Tennessee Cemetery Records," by Margaret Cummings Snider and Joan Hollis Yorgason (1981).
