Pleasant Hill Cemetery is located in Rusk County, Texas on State Highway 323 near the intersection of McWilliams Road. It is 3.57 miles southeast of the intersection of State Highway 42 and 4.46 miles northwest of the intersection of Loop 571 [Landon Alford Loop]. It is across the highway from the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. The cemetery memorial day is the First Saturday in July. It is the site of many of the graves of the children, teachers, and school staff who were killed in the New London School explosion. There is a marker in the cemetery honoring those who lost their lives in the explosion.
