Cemetery notes and/or description:
Cemetery is located on Ballenger Creek Pike across from St. Matthew Lutheran Church and its cemetery. It is still in use and dates back to the 1880s.
It should be noted that in 1968 the German Thomas Cemetery, originally located on a farm about a mile away, was removed to Manor Cemetery. These stones are much older, dating from the late 1700s. They are arranged in a neat row beside the guardrail on the right edge of the cemetery. |
