The 1986 Leon Co. History Book: Near Flynn, Milton BYRD Land.
Below description taken from the Y2K Cemetery Book for Leon County.
This is a White Cemetery.
From HWY 39 in Flynn go West on FM 977 a distance of 3.5 miles to a locked gate on the left side of the road. Follow this roadway 1.4 miles to the cemetery. It is on a ranch recently purchase by Mr. Dick ROTHWELL. It is close to Pedgeon Roost Creek.
There are about 16 graves with stones. However, the working is weathered away until only 5 (five) markers are identifiable. This location and the following nams and dates were received by the Committee from Joyce Petty. It is handwritten but gives no name nor date of who researched the cemetery or when.
The research also notes; There is also a rectangle about 20 or 30 feet long and 10 feet wide marked by stones about 2 feet high. No grave markers are in this area. The 1965 survey was done by Mrs. J.S. Douthitt and Milton BYRD.
This cemetery was originally known as "Old Union". Another Old Union Cemetery is on the road to Flynn near Normangee.
There is a concrete brick with PAD D 1887 (the P is backward, may be a Q).
Surveyed January 15, 2000 by Esther Byrd, Milton BYRD and Herbert H. McCARTER.
I am entering all memorials listed in the Cemetery Book so Researchers will have SOMETHING to work with. I am finding that several "lists" may have been combined and the same folks seem be documented twice. Since they are unmarked, it may only be family history or rumor that they are here at all.

Since creating this cemetery, researchers have found the true names of Bill MANCEL and wife Mandy. Therefore, I removed Bill and Mandy. They are William H. MANSEL and Mandy was a duplicate for his wife Mary Amanda HERRING Mansel.
I have removed Becky Hale assuming she is Rebecca Ann MANSEL Hale.
