|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This old 19th century cemetery is across a field from behind the address 1958 County Road 106 in Bullock County. When standing at the rear of this address, and looking toward the woods, look slightly to the left of center (11 o'clock) and see the fence of the cemetery a few hundred yard off in the woods. This cemetery is untended and returning to nature.
2 Apr 2013: This cemetery continues to be minimally maintained, though when I visited today there were a few taller weeds and low-cut grass and vines to walk through. It appears that it is probably maintained to provide continued access. I entered off of CR 103 rather than CR 106. There are two double-wide mobile homes not far from the intersection, and if you turn right into the driveway between the two homes, you can drive to the backyard area. The family who assisted me gave me directions to go to the cemetery, a few hundred feet from where I parked. There is a burn trash pit that you must walk by, lots of broken glass and other items. Be careful not to trip. The gate to the fence is open.
