This cemetery, located on land owned by the Barber family, came into existence as early as the 1740's as evidenced by personal records of several pioneer families of the area. Burals include soldiers of the Revolutionary War - those who served and lived long lives, as well as those who lost their lives in that War. As of 2013, a half-dozen tombstones exist which mark burials prior to 1800, and about the same number of tombstones exist for persons born prior to 1730. The cemetery is active and well-kept, marked by a low rock wall across the front.
