|Grand River Township|
|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
A country lane leads west from DD and ends at the cemetery which is not far from Grand River. This cemetery was a free cemetery until 1972 when an Association was formed to administer a trust fund for the maintenance of the grounds. All records were lost in a house fire. There are many unmarked graves. Slaves were buried in the southwest section. This cemetery carries the Brady family name; they were early settlers in the community. The Grand River Missionary baptist Church was first located at this site with the cemetery west of their building. The church later built at the present location, which is about 1 1/4 miles nw of Brady Cemetery on the Grand River.
