Cemetery notes and/or description: These are memorials not burials. The evidence of their bravery and sacrifice lies in what's known as Warriors' Walk at Fort Stewart is a long path of Eastern red bud trees. Each tree represents a soldier from the 3rd Infantry Division who has died since 2003, when the United States invaded Iraq. Please note: The listings are memorial cenotaphs only. Actual burials are elsewhere.

PLEASE READ FAQ'S (FIND A GRAVE) PRIOR TO SUBMISSION OF DUPLICATE MESSAGES:
What is a cenotaph? How do I have a memorial designated as a cenotaph?
A cenotaph is a tomb or a monument erected in honor of a person or group of persons whose remains are buried elsewhere. It can also be the initial marker for a person who has since been interred elsewhere. To add a cenotaph, create a memorial just like any other. Then email edit@findagrave.com with a link to the memorial and a message to mark it as a cenotaph.
