Tax map location: T(town)8 R(range)11 Q(quarter)4
southwest corner of that map
The WWII era cemetery map correctly indicates this cemetery is in Brown Twp, not Berlin as has been published in various books. That map places the cemetery south of CR (County Road or Hwy) 14 and west of Twp Rd (1?)64. The 1960 through 1980 tax maps shows the Lorin Swindal farm in Brown Township, T8 R11 QR4. Its western border was Twp Rd 320. County Hwy 14 was its diagonal NE border, as it had been since at least 1910, though with different owners. The property was in the same family through the 1990 map. The next map, 2001, shows it divided into many smaller properties. Cemeteries are not marked on any of this series of maps. The same property, in two parcels, appears on the 1871 Twp map, but it has no cemetery marks on the entire map.
