Original Church was of Norman design built around 1100. The Chancel is 13th Century and a side chapel added in 16th Century. This Church served the people of East Shefford, Berkshire, England which no longer exists. The town of Great Shefford is very close by. The Church has become a mausoleum dedicated to the once famous Fettiplace family with fine sculptured monuments to some of the Fettiplaces'. The churchyard contains old headstones which for the most part are no longer readible.
