|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The cemetery was started about 1850 on land donated by S. K. and Mary N. Dunn who donated the land from the church in 1881. It was on the ground between the Locust Grove School and the Locust Grove church, neither of which exist at this time. It is known as Locust Grove Cemetery because of the persistence of wild locust trees within its bounds. It is located on mile road 1700E is the northwest part of Somer Township.
