Cemetery notes and/or description: The Moline Cemetery is located in Ash Grove Township in the NW Corner of the NW2 NW4, Sec 3, Twp 3, North, Range 16 West of the P.M.
Driving Instructions: Four miles north and nine miles west of Macon on the south side of the road, or five miles south and four miles west of Hildreth on the south side of the road.
Willard Weston and his wife Abbie N. Weston sold the land for $1.00 for the purpose of a Cemetery. the Moline Cemetery Association Certificate was filed May 17, 1884. The following citizens met at the Moline Post Office on Sep. 1, 1883 to organize the Cemetery Association: T.T., Rice, R.B. Jordan, Thomas Jordon, J.S. Underhill, H.E. Phelps and W. Weston with R.B. Jordon elected chairman, and W. Weston elected secretary. The second meeting took place on Sept 15, 1883. The following citizens were elected: Willard Weston - President, R.C. Rowley - Vice President, A.M. de Clercq - Secretary and R.B. Jordon - Treasurer. The following were elected trustees: T.J. Carrol, Levi Hager, John Jordon, T. Jordon, T.T. Rice. The actual deed was signed Dec. 22, 1885.
