According to Sheila Saft Tucker who is the Cayuga County Historian, historic Galpin Hill Cemetery is on a wodded summit that includes inscriptions that are the oldest in the area. It is nearly impossible to get to and although not on private property, one must go through private property to get there. Apparently in the last 40 years, it has been vandalized and only a few stones are still erect and in one piece. |
